He's a thoughtful person, even if he may not want to admit to it all the time.

[Hank always deflects when it comes to accepting compliments, which he plans to use in the future for... whatever purposes he may have at the time. Connor has way too much ammunition against the lieutenant, honestly. It's probably unfair, but he was kind of built to manipulate people.]

He's not very good at pretending he's not, though.

I hope you've been well lately. It's been a couple of weeks.

He is.

[Connor is happy enough to agree to that without anything to add. It's just a fact. But as far as the past weeks... androids don't need to sigh, but the sense of such a feeling comes through.]

It's been... a challenge.

[It certainly hasn't been the worst week Connor as experienced, exactly, but it's had its issues.]

Thras' death appears to have had some kind of... unnatural effect on me, occasionally. It's nothing I haven't been able to handle with Hank's help, but it's still been unpleasant. We've been busy, otherwise, with investigating the murder.

[He's not touching the deviancy thing right now. It's too complicated; he can deal with it later, when the latest emotional disruption has passed.]
